Well, well, well,

the other day I just uploaded a fab calendar made by some krisbians and I thought, why not?

Rob will play in Cronenberg's Cosmopolis

Robert Pattinson has booked his first major lead for when he completes The Twilight Saga. Pattinson will star in Cosmopolis, the Don DeLillo novel adaptation that David Cronenberg wrote and will direct. Pattinson, who just starred with Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz in Fox 2000's Francis Lawrence-directed adaptation of the Sara Gruen novel Water For Elephants, will play Eric Packer. A financial wunderkind, Packer risks his entire fortune to bet against the yen on a tumultuous day. His deed puts him in the crosshairs for assassination in a drama that is a study of capitalism in a slightly futuristic metropolis. Most of the scenes in the book take place in the limousine that transports Packer from place to place. Marion Cotillard and Paul Giamatti are also reportedly doing the film, but those same reports had Colin Farrell poised to take the lead role.

As Pattinson and his Twilight Saga castmates plan their careers after the series is completed--Bill Condon is directing the final film right now, Pattinson is following a path based on strong filmmakers and tasteful source material. He took the role because he is a big fan of Cronenberg's work and an admirer of DeLillo's books. He's repped by WME and 3 Arts.

People Choice Awards 2011: articles from other sites...

After eliciting screams from the audience during her on stage appearance with leading men Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, Twilight star Kristen Stewart (in Reem Acra) chatted with Ashton Kutcherb ackstage at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live.

Although we were consumed by the thought of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart possibly turning up at last night's People's Choice Awards hand in hand, those thoughts were immediately forgotten as soon as we set eyes on KStew.

The gorgeous actress has really come into her own when it comes to red carpet attire over the past year, and last night was no exception.

The leggy Twilight Saga star dazzled in a gold sequin, belted strapless mini dress by Reem Acra and sky high, peeptoe heels by Jimmy Choo.

Kristen was also rockin her 'Bella hair', having left the Breaking Dawn set that very day but had the do professionally coiffed for the ceremony by Fekkai's Adir Abergel.

We think Kristen got her look spot on and it was no wonder her boyfriend and co-star, Robert Pattinson couldn't keep his eyes off her!

The most fabulous couple in the world, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, were joined by third wheel (kidding) Taylor Lautner at the 2011 People’s Choice Awards.

The trio skipped the red carpet, and only attended the show itself. Here’s hoping Rob will grace the red carpet at the Golden Globes next week.

But last night was the night of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which won four awards. It has bagged the awards in the sections- Favorite Movie, Favorite Movie Actress (Kristen Stewart), Favorite Drama Movie and Favorite On-Screen Team (Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner).

However, Rob lost out to Johnny Depp in the favorite actor award category and also lost out to Zac Efron in the favorite movie star under 25 award. If Rob needs a consilatory hug, I’m sure there are millions of women who step up to the plate and do so.
