HC: In che modo, i tuoi primi passi come ballerina, ti hanno aiutato a navigare nel rigore dello show business?

Julia: La prima cosa che mi viene in mente è la disciplina, non vi è nulla di più emotivamente, fisicamente e mentalmente impegnativo del balletto. Devi spingere così lontano come attore ed affrontare una dura realtà, come la gente che è cattiva con te e le mie insegnanti Russe di balletto sono state veramente delle ottimi insegnanti per questo [ride]

HC: Qual'è stato l'elemento più surreale dell'essere messa sotto i riflettori della Saga di Twilight?

Julia: Per me, è stato proprio come tutto è cambiato così velocemente. A volte mi sento come se fossi costantemente sotto l'effetto di una droga leggera. È solo che la mia nuova realtà è diversa, c'è molta più energia scagliata contro di te quotidianamente, rispetto a prima.

HC: Il film Hell Ride (2007) è stata un'aggiunta interessante per la tua filmografia. Cosa puoi dirci riguardo il regista Larry Bishop e la sua visione per quel film?

Julia: Larry è una parte del lavoro. Lui è uno scrittore meraviglioso e ho risposto subito allo script quando l'ho letto. Non avevo mai letto niente di simile. Lo rispetto molto per questo, lui ha una visione particolarmente unica.

HC: Come ti senti riguardo al tuo sangue Nativo Americano? In quali aspetti di questa eredità sei più interessata?

Julia: Ce ne sono così tanti. Quello col quale mi sento più vicina in mezzo a Twilight è che c'è una mancanza di rappresentanza dei Nativi Americani nei media e ciò che è stato messo nei media fin'ora è stato travisato. Quindi io sono contenta, come parte di Twilight, che si mostrino giovani Nativi Americani contemporanei. La gente ora pensa che siamo fighi e questo è un buon inizio, veramente.

HC: Ti sei mai fermata ad un certo punto, guardata intorno e pensato "Come sono arrivata qui?"

HC: How do your early days as a dancer help you to navigate the rigors of show business?

Julia: The first thing that comes to mind is the discipline, there is nothing more emotionally, physically and mentally demanding then ballet. You have to push yourself so far as an actor, and you have to deal with a harsh reality, like people being mean to you, and my Russian ballet teachers were really good training for that. [laughs]

HC: What has been the most surreal element of being put into The Twilight Saga spotlight?

Julia: For me, just how fast everything changed. I feel sometimes like I’m on a low-grade drug all the time. It’s just that my new reality is different, there is so much more energy hurled at you on a daily basis than before.

HC: The movie ‘Hell Ride’ (2007) was is a particularly interesting addition to your filmography. What can you relate about director Larry Bishop and his vision for that film?

Julia: Larry is a piece of work. He’s a wonderful writer and I responded to that script when I read it. I’d never read anything like it. I respect him for that, he does have a very unique vision.

HC: How do you connect to your Native American blood? What issues in that heritage are you most interested in?

Julia: There are so many. The one that comes closest to me in the midst of Twilight is there is a lack of representation for Native Americans in the media and what has been in the media thus far is generally misrepresentation. So I am excited that as part of Twilight it showcases young Native characters that are contemporary. People think we’re cool and that actually is a first in a lot of ways.

HC: Did you ever stop at some point, look around and think ‘how did I get here?’

Julia: I would say with Twilight I do it on a weekly basis. [laughs]

Eclipse free 2011 Calendar !!!

Well, well, well,

the other day I just uploaded a fab calendar made by some krisbians and I thought, why not?

I want to make my fanmade calendars too!

Since I always post stuff about the RobStens, I wanted to do something for the fans of Tay, but I failed to find all of the pics I needed before I stumbled upon the old fab promotional pics for Eclipse.

An official Eclipse 2011 calendar has already been made, so I made my unofficial one... Hope you like it, as a present for Jacob Black's birthday!!! ;)
