Rob wasn't supposed to be there, but, hey, he was, so, let's enjoy the pics, starring also Reese and Tai, the elephant!

They were filming a scene in which Jacob carries a umbrella carrying Marlena on his back through the mud. Over and over again. She is dressed in a cream colored circus costume with lots of sequins and feathers. He is wearing the beloved high boots, suspenders, brown pants, whitish shirt and a red striped tie. Dean (Rob's bodyguard) was there too.

Kelli says that after finishing that scene, they went inside the circus tent to presumably shoot a scene with Rosie.

Avevo sentito che Rob non doveva essere presente. Ma OH MIO DIO, lui c'era e c'erano anche Reese e Tai! Custodirò questo nella mia memoria per sempre! Stavano riprendendo una scena in cui Jacob ha un ombrello e trasporta Marlena sulla sua schiena camminando sopra al fango. Riprendevano questa scena in continuazione. Lei era vestita in un costume da circo color panna, pieno di paillettes e piume. Lui indossava quegli adorabili stivali alti, bretelle, pantaloni marroni, una camicia biancastra e una cravatta a strisce rosse. C'era anche Dean, la bodyguard di Rob.

Dopo aver finito quella scena, sono andati dentro la tenda del circo per, probabilmente, girare una scena con Rosie (Tai).

HC: In che modo, i tuoi primi passi come ballerina, ti hanno aiutato a navigare nel rigore dello show business?

Julia: La prima cosa che mi viene in mente è la disciplina, non vi è nulla di più emotivamente, fisicamente e mentalmente impegnativo del balletto. Devi spingere così lontano come attore ed affrontare una dura realtà, come la gente che è cattiva con te e le mie insegnanti Russe di balletto sono state veramente delle ottimi insegnanti per questo [ride]

HC: Qual'è stato l'elemento più surreale dell'essere messa sotto i riflettori della Saga di Twilight?

Julia: Per me, è stato proprio come tutto è cambiato così velocemente. A volte mi sento come se fossi costantemente sotto l'effetto di una droga leggera. È solo che la mia nuova realtà è diversa, c'è molta più energia scagliata contro di te quotidianamente, rispetto a prima.

HC: How do your early days as a dancer help you to navigate the rigors of show business?

Julia: The first thing that comes to mind is the discipline, there is nothing more emotionally, physically and mentally demanding then ballet. You have to push yourself so far as an actor, and you have to deal with a harsh reality, like people being mean to you, and my Russian ballet teachers were really good training for that. [laughs]

HC: What has been the most surreal element of being put into The Twilight Saga spotlight?

Julia: For me, just how fast everything changed. I feel sometimes like I’m on a low-grade drug all the time. It’s just that my new reality is different, there is so much more energy hurled at you on a daily basis than before.

HC: The movie ‘Hell Ride’ (2007) was is a particularly interesting addition to your filmography. What can you relate about director Larry Bishop and his vision for that film?

Julia: Larry is a piece of work. He’s a wonderful writer and I responded to that script when I read it. I’d never read anything like it. I respect him for that, he does have a very unique vision.

HC: How do you connect to your Native American blood? What issues in that heritage are you most interested in?

Julia: There are so many. The one that comes closest to me in the midst of Twilight is there is a lack of representation for Native Americans in the media and what has been in the media thus far is generally misrepresentation. So I am excited that as part of Twilight it showcases young Native characters that are contemporary. People think we’re cool and that actually is a first in a lot of ways.

HC: Did you ever stop at some point, look around and think ‘how did I get here?’

Julia: I would say with Twilight I do it on a weekly basis. [laughs]
